From the centre of Kadıköy, Yalova town centre with its shops, public offices and waterfront is around 15 minutes away, the thermal baths of Termal around 10 minutes. From the pier in the town centre, İDO fast ferries reach Istanbul-Yenikapı in around 75 minutes. Via the Osmangazi Bridge, the drive to the metropolis and to Sabiha Gökçen Airport is also convenient. Above the town, the wooded Samanlı Mountains begin.
